These Terms & Conditions govern the sale and installation of CCTV surveillance systems and related security products sold by TechZone. By making a purchase, you agree to the following terms.

1. Definitions

"Seller" refers to TechZone, the provider of CCTV products and services.
"Buyer" refers to the individual or entity purchasing products or services from TechZone.
"Products" include CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR recorders, cables, monitors, accessories, and all related surveillance equipment.
"Services" include installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support.

2. Product Specifications

All product specifications, features, and performance metrics are provided by the manufacturers and are subject to change. TechZone makes every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is error-free. Key specifications to verify before purchase include:

Resolution (1080p, 4MP, 4K, etc.)
Night vision range and capability
Storage capacity and retention period
Weatherproof rating (IP65, IP67, etc.)
Compatibility with existing systems

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in BDT and are valid for 15 days from the date of quotation unless otherwise specified. Payment terms are as follows:

Full payment is required for orders under BDT 50,000.
50% advance payment is required for orders exceeding BDT 50,000, with the balance due upon completion of installation.
Corporate clients with approved credit terms may avail net-30 payment facilities.

4. Delivery and Shipping

We strive to deliver all orders within 3-7 business days within Dhaka metropolitan area and 7-14 business days for other regions in Bangladesh. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order value and delivery location.

Free shipping is available on orders over BDT 10,000.
International shipping is not currently available.
Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

5. Installation Service Terms

Our professional installation service includes:

On-site assessment and camera placement planning.
Cabling, mounting, and configuration of all cameras and recording equipment.
System testing and demonstration to the customer.
Basic training on system operation and mobile app access.

Installation does not include structural modifications, electrical work, or civil construction. Any additional work required will be quoted separately.

6. Warranty Coverage

Hardware Warranty: All CCTV equipment carries a 1-year to 3-year warranty (as specified on the product page) against manufacturing defects.

Installation Warranty: 30 days from the date of installation for workmanship-related issues.

Exclusions: Warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by power surges, lightning, or natural disasters.
Physical damage, tampering, or unauthorized repairs.
Consumable items such as cables and connectors after 30 days.
Software issues arising from third-party integrations.

7. Support and Maintenance

TechZone offers ongoing technical support during regular business hours (Saturday–Thursday, 9 AM – 6 PM). Maintenance packages are available for commercial clients requiring regular system checks, firmware updates, and remote monitoring.

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall TechZone be liable for any losses or damages arising from:

System downtime or failure to record critical events.
Data loss due to hard drive failure or corruption.
Security breaches, hacking, or unauthorized access to surveillance footage.
Indirect, punitive, or consequential damages.

The buyer acknowledges that CCTV systems are deterrent measures and do not guarantee prevention of security incidents.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement without any charge.
Cancellations after 24 hours but before dispatch are subject to a 10% processing fee.
Refunds for returned products will be processed within 10 business days after inspection.
Installation fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Bangladesh Arbitration Act. The venue for arbitration shall be Dhaka.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the buyer and TechZone and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
